Educational Activities
One of our challenges is to make the results and recommendations of our research known to civil society. To do this, we will use several communication channels through:
- scientific talks
- informative workshops
- visits to schools
- museum exhibitions
- blogs
- podcasts
We are also working on making a documentary that will alert us about the evolution and risk of the loss of the protective barrier of coastal-marine ecosystems in the Caribbean.

Children learning how a river works and how mangroves protect from erosion and waves to the coast. Workshop designed by the educational team of the National Museum of Natural Science of Madrid, Spain (author: Tania Gallego).
