CORESCAM can offer answers on how the change in the number of extreme events and their intensities is affecting the stability of coastal-marine ecosystems.

It is necessary to understand whether the new climate reality in the Caribbean requires urgent conservation actions and, consequently, to propose what actions can be carried out before the Regional Governments, promoting dialogue with technicians for the development of Public Policies that favor improvements in the protection and management of these ecosystems so fundamental, but so unknown.
